The Ride to St George

On Sunday morning Matt and I (and the little one) 

packed our bags for a short little get-a-way to St. George. 

We brought along Matt's niece Isabelle to help us watch Owen.

I was dreading the car ride over. 

We've never traveled with Owen during the day, and just knowing him and 

how impatient he can get I was pretty nervous that the ride would consist of a

screaming baby and a massive headache.

 I forgot that we had a DVD player in our car because

we've actually never really used it until now. 

I brought along Toy Story and Megamind.

It worked wonders for the trip. 

(Well that and Benedryl).

The only downside to it is I don't think I can ever watch Toy Story again.

I think we watched it about 5 times.

Once Owen was asleep I managed to get in a couple chapters of The Book Thief. 

I'm in the middle of the book and I have already fallen in love with it.
